[Elburn, Il] St. Gall’s building plan: $6 million plan with $4.4 million in DIAL; apparently not enough, yet?

New Campus: [July/August, 2011]
Although we might not be hearing a lot about our
new church, the work of planning
continues at a good pace.
We are currently waiting to hear
from our
architect concerning changes to
keep our projected costs in
focus. The next step will be to
present to the diocese the
results along with a realistic plan
to effectively maintain two
locations during the first phase
of construction. At our present
writing, our war
chest has risen
to $4,349,202.56. We still have
a way to go to meet the
$6,000,000 originally

established; so if you come into
an inheritance or win the
powerball, think of our parish. Perhaps a more realistic
approach might be to
remember St. Gall Parish in your will.
That’s it for now until the next issue of the
newsletter. Once again have a good summer and
may God travel with you to your many vacation
destinations.
Father Karl
